The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
The Anvil of God´s Word
Last eve I passed beside a blacksmith´s door
And heard the anvil ring the vesper chime;
When looking in, I saw upon the floor,
Old hammers worn with beating years of time.
“How many anvils have you had,” said I,
“To wear and batter these hammers so?”
“Just one,” said he; then with a twinkling eye,
“The anvil wears the hammer out, you know.̶
And so, I thought, the anvil of God´s Word,
For ages, skeptics blows have beat upon;
Yet, though the noise of falling blows was heard,
The anvil is unharmed - the hammers gone.

"If the Book be not infallible, where shall we find infallibility? We have given up the Pope, for he has blundered often and terribly; but we shall not set up instead of him a horde of popelings fresh from college. Are these correctors of Scriptures infallible? Is it certain that our Bibles are not right, but that the critics must be so? Now, Farmer Smith, when you have read your Bible, and have enjoyed its precious promises, you will have tomorrow morning, to go down the street to ask the scholarly man at the parsonage whether this portion of the Scripture belongs to the inspired part of the Word or whether it is of dubious authority . . . We shall gradually be so bedoubted and be criticized that only a few of the most profound will know what is Bible and what is not, and they will dictate to the rest of us. I have no more faith in their mercy than in their accuracy . . . and we are fully assured that our old English version of the Scriptures is sufficient for plain men for all purposes of life, salvation, and goodness."

WE BELIEVE that the Bible, the Holy word(s) of a Living, Holy God, was not only free from error in the originals (which have been lost for centuries) but also we believe God in His singular providential care has KEPT HIS INSPIRED WORD(s), INERRANT, INFALLABLE and PRESERVED all through the ages, right down to the present day as found in the King James Bible (AV1611). We consider this BIBLE (The King James AV 1611) our final and absolute authority, above and beyond all other authorities on earth (Psalms 12:6-7; Matthew 24:35; II Corinthians 2:17; Philippians 2:16; II Timothy 3:15-17; I Peter 1:25; Revelation 22:18).
WE BELIEVE in one true and living God manifested in the three persons of: The Father, the Word (the Lord Jesus Christ), and the Holy Ghost (Spirit). Though many contend in Christianity as to the name of God, in Scripture He is called JEHOVAH of Himself and is stated as that alone being His name (Exodus 6:3 & Psalms 83:18). As such, any other name said to be appropriated to God, and not Scripturally based and found in the Authorized text of the King James Bible, is not His name. While the Lord has many titles in Scripture, He has only one name (I John 5:7; John 10:30; Isaiah 12:2).
WE BELIEVE the Lord Jesus Christ is 100% God and 100% man, the second person of the Godhead, who in His incarnation was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. In His earthly ministry He lived a sinless, perfect life, performed miracles, and died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. This sacrifice was not done of Christís necessity, but for His own love for His creation He gave His life so that all may obtain eternal life. By the power of God after three (3) days, on the first day of the week, He was bodily raised from the dead. He ascended into Heaven where, at the right hand of God, He continually makes intercession for us (I Corinthians 15:3-4; Colossian 2:6-9; Matthew 1:18-23; Matthew 28:1-10; John 21:25; Hebrews 4:14-15; Acts 4:12; Romans 5:8-9; Romans 8:33-34; Hebrews 1:3; I Timothy 1:15-16).
WE BELIEVE that God created the heavens and the earth including all life, each after its own kind, by the direct word of God and not by the process of evolution, which is a damnable heresy brought about by a humanistic, atheistic, Satanic religion ("But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction." II Peter 2:1 & Romans 1:20-25). Man was created in the image and likeness of God, as a triune being, having a body, soul, and spirit. But through the sin of Adam, man fell into sin and is, therefore, lost apart from Christ. Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (Genesis 1:1-18; Genesis 1:19-31 ; Genesis 2:1-14; Genesis 2:15-25; Colossians 1:16-17; John 1:1-3; Revelation 4:11; Exodus 20:11; Romans 5:8-9; Romans 5:12; John 3:3; John 3:18).
WE BELIEVE Salvation/eternal life is a free gift, only received as a free gift, and not gained through works, baptism, sprinkling, church affiliation, or other deeds done by mankind, but only through Christís Blood. Moreover, it should be proclaimed, and made known to all man, that salvation is only possible through the acceptance of the death, burial, and bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 2:4; Romans 4:5; Romans 5:15-21; Luke 13:5; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Colossians 1:14; II Peter 3:9).
WE BELIEVE in the Eternal Security of the Believer. Once a soul trusts in the Lord Jesus Christ, that soul is born into the family of God, and awaits the adoption of the flesh. Nothing can cause that soul to go to Hell once it has been redeemed of God (Ephesians 1:13; Ephesians 4:30; Romans 8:35-39; John 5:24; John 10:28-30; II Peter 3:9; I John 5:12-13; Hebrews 6:1-6, Hebrews 13:5-6; I Peter 1:23).
WE BELIEVE in the Pre-Tribulation Translation (Rapture) of the Body of Christ (The Church). The Church is composed of all those regenerated by the Spirit of God (those that have received Jesus Christ and been baptized into the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit), by whom they have been baptized into one body of whom Christ is the head. The purpose of the church is to witness concerning Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures, and to preach the Gospel among all nations. Jesus Christ will come again to receive unto Himself those who believe in Him, that where He is, they may be also (I Corinthians 12:13-15; Colossians 3:15; Ephesians 4:5-6; I Thessalonians 1:10; I Thessalonians 5:9; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 4:1; Revelation 20:1-6).
WE BELIEVE that the resurrection of the believers will be unto eternal glory, and the resurrection of the unbelievers will be unto eternal punishment (Revelation 20:15).
His word shall stand for ever.
For feelings come and feelings go
And feelings are deceiving;
My warrant is the word of God,
Naught else is worth believing.
Though all my heart should feel condemned
For lack of some sweet token
There is One greater than my heart
Whose word cannot be broken.
Iíll trust in Godís unchanging word
Till soul and body sever
For though all things shall pass away,
His word shall stand for ever.
-- Martin Luther --
The Kingís English
I heard an old-time preacher speak
Without one reference to the Greek.
"The King James Bible I hold in my hand
Is God´s holy words on which I stand!"
And then the scholars came along,
And said the preacher had it wrong.
"Conflations here, rescissions there,
And scribal errors everywhere.
A book ´essentially correct,´
But not in every last respect."
"A ´fairly certain´ word" they say,
"To light our path and guide our way."
Then in despair I bowed my head.
"We have no word of God," I said.
If some of this old Book is wrong,
Pray tell, what else does not belong?
Will still more manuscripts be found?
And make us go another round?
Correcting, changing, taking out;
Creating questions, fear and doubt?
Must more discoveries come to light
Before we finally get it right?
Will precious doctrines fade away
Because of what the scholars say?
How many "errors" must we purge
Because of what the scholars urge?
How many versions must we make?
How many changes can we take?
How will we ever know we"re through?
And that we possess a Scripture true?
If man must find God"s word, my friend,
When will the changes ever end?
Then back to the Book again I fled
To find out what my Father said
"Forever settled . . . never fade;"
This promise God the Spirit made.
A thousand generations hence;
That seems a pretty strong defense.
A "perfect Book?" Then it must be
Man can´t improve what God gave me.
"The King´s book" is infallibly true,
Instructing us in all that we do.
Preserved by God, not found by men,
Inscribed by God the Spirit´s pen.
If God or scholars you must choose,
Be sure the ´experts´ always lose.
Donít give them a second look,
Just keep believing this old Book.
